Where I Stand
I read the audits and the invoices, and I ask the hard questions. When
our 2024 audit showed costs outpacing our tax dollars, I pushed to cut
costs before raising assessments. In 2025 I supported moving to
professional management, which strengthened oversight and lowered our
costs. I've voted to raise our assessment only once. We paid off our
debt and held the line ever since. Reserves are the next real need for
our aging community, and I'll ask for more only if it's absolutely
necessary.
ABOUT GINNYI raised my older daughter on my own while earning my MBA at USF and
working at TECO, so I learned a budget the way most families do, by
living inside one. We came to Lake St. Charles when my youngest was a
toddler, and I watched her grow up here, learning to ride a bike on
these trails. I joined the board two years later.I've worked alongside fellow supervisors to make decisions in the best
interest of every resident, including voting for the dog park when I
didn't even have a dog. The seat pays a $200 stipend. I've never done it
for the money. I keep asking questions because that's how a community
gets stronger, and because this place is worth protecting.
